Designed for entry-level infrastructure careers
01Infrastructure foundations

Develop essential knowledge of computer hardware, networking, servers, storage, virtualization, and enterprise operations.

02Operational readiness

Practice the safety, documentation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and escalation habits used in modern data center environments.

03Career preparation

Connect technical learning with workforce readiness, employer expectations, and entry-level infrastructure support roles.

Six-month learning sequence

From IT foundations to enterprise operations.

The pathway progresses deliberately from core technical concepts into hands-on data center operations and an integrated capstone experience.

Month 01

IT Foundations

Computer, networking, workplace, and data center fundamentals for participants entering the technology field.

Month 02

CompTIA A+ Core 1

Hardware, networking technologies, storage, virtualization, power systems, and hardware troubleshooting.

Month 03

CompTIA A+ Core 2

Operating systems, Windows and Linux administration, security fundamentals, documentation, and software troubleshooting.

Month 04

Server Infrastructure

Enterprise server architecture, rack infrastructure, storage, virtualization, high availability, and infrastructure scaling.

Month 05

Data Center Operations

Data center design, power, environmental controls, safety, cabling, physical security, and operations practice.

Month 06

Enterprise Operations

Monitoring, backup and recovery, continuity, disaster recovery, performance management, and enterprise troubleshooting.

Applied technical experience

Practice before the pressure is real.

Virtual simulations help participants translate technical concepts into repeatable operational decisions—from rack and cabling fundamentals to monitoring and incident response.

  • Hardware assembly and rack-and-stack practice
  • Cabling, storage, RAID, and virtualization simulations
  • Power, environmental control, and physical security scenarios
  • Backup, recovery, monitoring, and incident response exercises
Integrated capstone

Virtual Data Center Build

Participants bring the program together by planning a virtual data center environment and presenting its infrastructure, storage, backup, security, monitoring, and disaster-recovery approach.
